Tips for Smooth Skin

Getting smooth radiant skin can be hard to achieve but with our tips and a little effort you'll be soft and luminous in no time!
1) Smooth skin starts from the inside out. A majority of women are plagued by cellulite and as you age your skin loses elasticity. That's where Lipomassage comes in. Lipomassage is designed to tighten sagging skin, reduce cellulite, release water retention and jump start lymphatic drainage and your circulatory system. To learn more about how Lipomassage can give you a slimmer, smoother body click here.

2) We've said it before and we'll say it again: Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. Exfoliation is the key to smooth skin. It removes dead skin cells and flakiness while creating an even canvas for self-tanners (click
here for our self tanner application tips). By removing all that dead skin you are removing a barrier between your fresh skin and whatever products you're applying to it. This maximizes the benefits of the active ingredients in your products so you get more bang for your buck.

3) Shaving is so passe -- waxing is where it's at. Waxing not only lasts longer than shaving, but when the hair grows in it isn't stubbly and hard because the hair has been pulled from the root. It also acts as an exfoliant because the warm wax grabs onto dead skin cells. For more tips on waxing click here.

4) The words 'Body Oil' bring up images of women sunbathing slathered in baby oil. GM Collin has reinvented our concepts of Body Oil with their fabulous Treating Oil. It enhances the skins elasticity and firmness while hydrating. Plus it's quick absorption leaves your skin looking dewy and feeling soft (not greasy or slimy like other oil-based products).

By diligently exfoliating and keeping the skin hydrated you can easily achieve and maintain beautiful, radiant skin!

Sincerely,
Skindulgence

PhytoWhite

GM Collin is proud to unveil PhytoWhite Dark Spot Serum & Cream, two highly effective, safe, and specially targeted products designed to even out skin tone irregularities and correct pigmentation distribution in the epidermis.

Of course, Gm Collin uses their high-quality standard and rigorous testing procedures to make sure that their products are safe for skin and tolerated by most skin types.

PhytoWhite helps control the overproduction of melanin and lipofuscin, which are two skin pigments that are formed by UV rays. PhytoWhite intervenes with the melanogenesis to stop and prevent melanin formation. It also accelerates the degradation of lipofuscin by cleaning and recycling cells (called proteasomes) to help detoxify and improve skin cell functioning.

The PhytoWhite Serum is a spot treatment that has a triple-action formula that lightens, exfoliates and protects the skin from the telltale signs of aging and helps prevent further damage with a unique blend of antioxidants including turmeric, emblica and achromaxyl. It is hydroquinone free.

The PhytoWhite cream is also formulated with natural antioxidants and botanical extracts that helps hydrate, nourish and illuminate the skin by preventing and reducing dark spots. Active ingredient include Oligopeptide-34, Sulforawhite, Niacinamide and a complex of Pichia and Resveratrol Extract.

If your skin has dark spots or an irregular tone (be it from tanning, acne or other environmental stressors) give GM Collin a try. Find out what so many of our clients already know: GM Collin works. Period.

Sincerely,
Skindulgence

Victoria Long Weekend

Just a heads up... We'll be closed tomorrow (May 23rd) and Monday (May 24th) for the Victoria long weekend. Enjoy the sunshine with your families!

What is Hyper Pigmentation?

Hyperpigmentation is a common skin disorder resulting in dark spots or patches on the face or body that can affect all skin tones and colors. Although these dark spots do not usually pose a health risk, they can add up to 10 years onto the perceived age of an individual.

Causes:
The most common cause of dark spots is excess sun exposure. Melasma and chloasma are pigmentation disorders most prominent in women experiencing hormonal changes or during pregnancy. Illness, medication, inflammation and skin injuries including acne can also cause differing degrees of excess pigmentation.

What can you do about it?
GM Collin has formulated PhytoWhite Dark Spot Serum & Cream, two highly effective treatments for hyperpigmentation. Stay tuned for our next post to find out more about this amazing new product.

Sincerely,
Skindulgence
